Jennifer Purdy developed a passion for helping injured people during law school. Since receiving her law degree in 1996, she has used her passion, knowledge, and experience to navigate thousands of injured clients through the legal complexities of injury claims.
Dealing with insurance companies and/or corporate defendants can be complicated, time-consuming, and stressful; particularly when you are injured or are coping with the death or catastrophic injury of a family member. Jennifer is proud to use her knowledge and experience to help ease the burden on her clients and assist them in rebuilding their lives following a traumatic event.
Great settlements and jury verdicts don’t just happen – they are the product of experience, hard work, and strategy, implemented long before stepping into a courtroom or negotiating a settlement. Jennifer customizes an individual plan for each client’s case. Personal attention and compassion, combined with preparation and hard work, are hallmarks of her practice. Jennifer vigorously pursues the successful resolution of her client’s claims, whether by strategic negotiation or by litigating a case to a jury verdict.
Jennifer has handled thousands of personal injury cases during her career, including cases involving automobile accidents, tractor-trailer negligence, premises liability claims, nursing home negligence, medical malpractice, dental malpractice, daycare negligence, school negligence, dog bite cases, insurance bad faith, injuries resulting from negligent bars / restaurants, injuries stemming from assault and battery, sexual assault, wrongful arrest, and many others. Jennifer is licensed in both South Carolina and North Carolina. She practices in the state, federal, and appellate courts. She has tried numerous cases to a successful conclusion and has negotiated multi-million dollar settlements.
Originally from Gaffney, South Carolina, Jennifer is an alumna of Wofford College and the University of South Carolina School of Law. She is married to Mickey Purdy and they have identical twin sons who are active in basketball, football, and lacrosse. Jennifer has served as the President of the Crayton Middle School PTO and the A.C. Flora High School PTSO. She is active in her community and works passionately toward the improvement of our public schools. Jennifer enjoys playing tennis and traveling.
