J. Scott Shirley is the founding member of the Popowski & Shirley law firm. He graduated Occidental College in Los Angles, California in 1990 and from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1998.

Jennifer R. Purdy

Jennifer Purdy developed a passion for helping injured people during law school. Since receiving her law degree in 1996, she has used her passion, knowledge, and experience to assist thousands of injured clients to navigate the legal complexities of injury claims.

Vanessa C. Overbay

Vanessa Overbay’s practice concentrates on personal injury litigation, including automobile and tractor-trailer negligence, premises liability, medical malpractice, insurance bad faith, and other general torts. Since her graduation from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1992, Vanessa has represented thousands of clients and their families injured through the negligence of others. She has tried numerous cases in both State and Federal Courts to a successful conclusion. In addition, she is a certified Civil Court Arbitrator.

S. Prior Hunt III

Prior Hunt is an associate attorney at Popowski & Shirley. His practice is focused on workers’ compensation and a variety of civil claims, including: medical malpractice, insurance bad faith, automobile negligence, premises liability, and general civil litigation.
