S. Prior Hunt III

Prior Hunt is an associate attorney at Popowski & Shirley. His practice is focused on workers’ compensation and a variety of civil claims, including: medical malpractice, insurance bad faith, automobile negligence, premises liability, and general civil litigation.

Prior received his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. Before attending law school at the University of South Carolina, Prior worked as an electrician in his hometown of Morganton, NC. At The University of South Carolina School of Law, Prior was a member of the A.B.A. Real Property, Trusts & Estates Law Journal and received a CALI award in his Estate Planning course. During his second year in law school, he began working at Popowski & Shirley as a Law Clerk where he gained experience handling complicated litigation matters.

Prior believes in strong, positive relationships with clients. He understands the stress that may accompany his clients’ case and he is committed to helping them through their difficult time.

When he’s not in the office, Prior can be found watching football or outdoors with his German Shorthaired Pointer, Salem, as his sidekick.
